QPL CERTIFICATION for PM907S & PM948S SERIES OF FILM CAPACITORS
Exxelia is pleased to announced the ESA/QPL certification for its film capacitors series PM907S and PM948S.
Series PM907S and PM948S of Film capacitors obtained the QPL certification from the European Space Components Coordination (ESCC). According to the ESCC Detail Specification No. 3006/025 and 3006/026 QPL certified products ensure superior performances, quality and reliability intended for use by the European Space Agency (ESA) and in Space in general.
PM907S and PM948S are full series of Polyester Film Capacitors. PM907S products are suitable for voltages from 50V up to 1250V and offer capacitance values from 82nF up to 180μF. PM948S can be used with a voltages from 50V up to 630V with capacitance values from 22nF up to 47μF. Both series can support extreme conditions with temperatures from -55°C to +125°C, and offer high energy density, low ESR & ESL and high RMS current.
Products are typically being used in SMPS (Switch Mode Power Suppliers) and BUS filtering.

State-of-the art absolute optical encoders Exxelia has acquired deep expertise in the development of contactless position sensors of several type: absolute and incremental optical encoders, magnetic technology and inductive sensors. Several ranges of state-of-the-art absolute optical encoders will be showcased at the company booth - Hall 5A booth# E543. Absolute optical encoders are position sensors that use optical signals to identify an absolute angular position. They provide the highest resolution, operating speed reliability as well as long life operation in most demanding environments. Exxelia ranges of absolute optical encoders offer very high performance levels for a very small footprint: high precision (<30arcsc.), high resolution (up to 21 bits), extreme thinness (10mm) and EMI EMC compatibility. With their compact design, Exxelia miniature encoders meet the requirements of the most demanding application such as aerospace, defense, medical, oil & mining industries. Various protocols are available to match with any application. Exxelia encoders can be easily combined with other functions such as slip rings to provide customers turkey solutions. Two new ranges of MIL-qualified wet tantalum capacitors: MIL39006/22 & MIL39006/25 The recently introduced ranges of MIL-qualified tantalum capacitors will be showcased on the company booth. MIL 39006/22 and MIL 39006/25 respectively equivalent to CLR79 and CLR81 types featuring hermetically sealed cylindrical tantalum cases and axial leads are available in T1, T2 T3 and T4 cases with extended capacitance and voltage ratings. MIL 39006/22 is qualified for voltages from 6V to 125V and provides from 1200µF @6V to 56µF @125V. MIL 39006/25 is qualified for voltages from 25V to 125V and delivers from 680µF @25V to 82µF @125V. Both ranges combine high energy density with a large operating temperature range of -55°C - +125°C and H vibrations and shocks resistance.
Low Voltage 0402 MLCCs now in ESA QPL
Exxelia ranges of low voltage MLCC for surface mounting, CEC19 and CNC19, have achieved the Qualified Part List (QPL) status under the criteria of the European Space Component Coordination’s (ESCC) 3009/042 and 3009/043 respectively. The case size 0402 QPL-qualified parts are available from 10V to 25V, enabling substantial miniaturization and cost-saving. Dielectrics are based either in the very stable NPO (type 1) or the high capacitance X7R (type 2). CEC and CNC series combine high capacitance values with high thermal and voltage stability. Versions with polymer terminations are also QPL-certified. These ranges of versatile chip capacitors are intended for use in a wide variety of aerospace applications requiring the highest level of reliability: satellites, launch vehicles, payloads, etc. CEC19 features: - very stable NPO dielectric - maximum capacitance values: 330pF in 10V, 120pF in 16V and 100pF in 25V, - large operating temperatures: -55°C to 125°C CNC19 features: - high capacitance X7R dielectric - high capacitance rating values: from 68pF to 12nF in 10V, 8.2nF in 16V and 5.6nF in 25V - large operating temperatures: -55°C to 125°C
